Biostatistics symposium at Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden

The Department of Medical Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Karolinska Institutet hereby announce a one-day symposium 26 March 2010 in Nobel Forum at Karolinska
Institutet; State of the Art Biostatistics in Medical Research. The symposium aims to highlight the contribution of biostatistics to medical research. Modern Statistics for Climate Change Research: An International workshop, 1-2 February, 2010

The aim of the workshop is to put together a group of central statisticians worldwide, developing advanced statistical methodology for climate research and adaptation. This workshop will be an important occasion to understand state-of-the-art science and future trends of a new discipline which might have the name statistical climatology. Homepage.
